FINANCE

The ANSR asserts that Australia’s financial system must serve the prosperity and sovereignty of the nation—not the interests of global banks or foreign creditors. For too long, our country has been trapped in a cycle of debt and dependency, where international institutions and banking conglomerates dictate national policy. This system undermines our autonomy and binds future generations to the chains of usury.

Under the ANSR, Australia’s financial system will be rebuilt to prioritise national self-determination and economic independence. We will sever ties with exploitative international financial practices, ensuring that capital serves the development of Australian industries, resources, and communities. By eliminating reliance on interest-driven loans and enforcing strict transparency and accountability within financial institutions, we will reclaim control over our economy and chart a sovereign path to prosperity.

  • The Australian Nationalist Social Republic (ANSR) is dedicated to ending Australia’s involvement in exploitative financial practices and reducing reliance on foreign and private financial institutions. We will introduce legislation to stop the government from borrowing from these entities, ensuring Australia’s financial future is controlled by its people, not outside interests.

The Reserve Bank of Australia will come under strict government oversight to ensure the financial system prioritises national interests. By gaining full control over currency creation and regulation, the government can direct capital to sectors aligned with the Republic’s strategic goals.

This approach will break Australia’s reliance on international financial institutions and private banks, securing financial sovereignty for future generations. Nationalising critical industries and controlling the Reserve Bank will foster a self-sustaining economy that benefits the nation, free from external manipulation and debt-driven exploitation.

  • The Australian Nationalist Social Republic (ANSR) is committed to revitalising and strengthening Australia’s manufacturing and industrial base, particularly supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) against the dominance of large conglomerates. These SMEs are essential for job creation, innovation, and national self-sufficiency, but face significant challenges in competing with bigger players.

To support these businesses, the ANSR will offer financial relief through grants, low-interest loans, and tax incentives, helping SMEs reinvest and grow. Additionally, the Party will encourage new entrants into the manufacturing and production sectors by providing financial incentives like tax deductions, research grants, and subsidies for purchasing Australian-made equipment.

A key component of this policy is the Industrial and Agricultural Equipment Deduction Scheme, which will offer a full tax deduction for businesses purchasing new Australian-made equipment. This initiative aims to boost domestic manufacturing while supporting economic growth.

The ANSR believes a strong manufacturing sector is essential for Australia’s economic stability and sovereignty. By assisting SMEs and promoting innovation, the Party will ensure Australia remains competitive globally, with a self-sufficient economy. The ANSR is also prepared to nationalise key industries if necessary to protect and strengthen Australia’s manufacturing sector, ensuring the nation’s long-term prosperity and independence.

  • The Australian Nationalist Social Republic (ANSR) recognises the economic burden of high rent on young adults, families, and small businesses. The Party views rentier capitalism—where property owners profit without contributing to the economy—as an exploitative practice that deepens inequality and limits social mobility.

To address this, the ANSR has developed a Rent and Housing Policy focused on tenant protection, fair rent controls, and ensuring housing serves the public good rather than financial interests.

    • Tenant Protection and Rent Control: The Tenant Protection and Rent Control Act will regulate rent increases, ensuring they are justified based on factors like inflation and maintenance costs, protecting tenants from exploitation.

    • Hereditary Property Protection: The Hereditary Property Protection Act will prevent the consolidation of land into the hands of a few by designating certain properties as Hereditary Properties, preserving family-owned land and promoting sustainable use.

    • Comprehensive Housing Framework: This framework will set high standards for housing quality and maintenance, with clear guidelines for landlords and property managers. Dispute resolution mechanisms will ensure fair treatment for tenants.

    • People’s Housing Initiative: Housing will be treated as a public utility, with expanded state-funded public housing programs providing affordable rental units to low-income families, students, and small businesses.

    • Disincentivising Rentier Capitalism: The ANSR will introduce a progressive tax on rental income from large-scale landlords and regulate short-term rentals to ensure housing availability for residents.

This policy aims to provide affordable, stable housing for all Australians, reduce economic inequality, and prevent the exploitation of tenants and property markets.

  • The ANSR Party believes that Australia’s prosperity and stability depend on the strength of local producers. The Party is committed to creating an environment where local farmers, manufacturers, and businesses can thrive, ensuring national self-reliance and economic resilience.

The Party will introduce financial incentives to support local agriculture, food production, and manufacturing, reducing reliance on foreign imports. This will strengthen supply chains, promote economic growth, and create jobs in local communities.

    • Subsidies and Grants: Local farmers practising sustainability and small producers expanding their operations will receive subsidies and grants.

    • Prioritising Local Goods: National supermarkets and retailers will be required to source more goods from local producers, ensuring Australian-made products are widely available.

The Republic will foster a resilient economy by:

    • Offering tax incentives to businesses sourcing goods locally.

    • Promoting regional trade and local procurement.

    • Supporting research and innovation to keep Australian industries competitive.

Public awareness campaigns will encourage Australians to buy locally and support Australian-made products, strengthening the economy and cultural connections.

The ANSR Party is committed to making local producers central to Australia’s economic future, ensuring self-sufficiency, security, and prosperity for generations to come.
