REPUBLIC

“For decades, Australia’s political landscape has been dominated by a hollow two-party system—offering illusion, not choice. While our economy falters, our cultural identity erodes, and our security weakens, career politicians spend their time staging debates that achieve nothing. The real interests of the Australian people have been cast aside, and replaced by empty rhetoric and short-term opportunism.

The ANSR is the decisive break from this cycle of stagnation. We reject the failures of a system designed to serve elites, not Australians. Our vision is clear: a new model of governance that protects and prioritises the people—the foundation of our nation’s strength. No longer will Australia’s future be sacrificed for political theatre.

The challenges we face demand action, not words. The ANSR will build a Republic where governance is a duty, not a performance—a government that acts with clarity, precision, and unwavering commitment to the national interest. We will protect and advance Australia’s cultural, ethnic, and political identity, ensuring that the core values that define us endure for generations to come.

This is not reform; it is renewal. Under the ANSR, Australia will rise once more—united, sovereign, and prepared to meet the future.”

  • With the introduction of a new Constitution to govern the Republic of Australia, the nation formally acknowledges the foundational role played by the Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and European peoples in its creation. These groups are the cultural and historical pillars upon which the Republic stands.

To safeguard the Republic’s cultural and political integrity, Citizenship is exclusively reserved for individuals of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and European descent. Citizens hold the exclusive right to vote, run for office, and serve in national appointments. Participation in national service is also a duty and privilege reserved for Citizens, reflecting their responsibility as the Republic’s stewards.

Residency, however, is open to individuals of good character who contribute to the nation’s stability and prosperity. Residents may live, work, and study in Australia but do not hold the rights and responsibilities of Citizens. Those eligible for Citizenship may apply after meeting residency requirements, with full citizenship rights granted incrementally.

The Party rejects the commodification of national identity and the notion that Australian heritage can be sold or replaced. The Republic affirms that its cultural foundation is an intrinsic, irreplaceable bond between its people, land, and history—one that must be preserved for future generations.

Without Australians, there is no Australia.

  • With the introduction of a new Constitution to govern the Republic of Australia, the nation acknowledges the foundational role played by the Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and European peoples in its creation. These ethnic groups are the living pillars upon which the nation stands.

To safeguard the Republic's ethnic, cultural, and political integrity, Citizenship within the Republic is exclusively reserved for individuals of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and/or European descent. Only Citizens shall have the right to vote in elections, hold office, or serve in national appointments. Furthermore, participation in national service is a duty and privilege afforded solely to Citizens, reflecting their role as the Republic’s primary stewards.

The Party unequivocally rejects any accusations of racism or prejudice. Such claims stem from a misinformed perspective that views Australian heritage, and identity, is merely an economic or geographical asset that has been commodified to be bought, sold, and replaced with cheaper alternative. In contrast, the Party affirms that the Republic’s heritage is an intrinsic, irreplaceable bond between its people—a bond that cannot be sold, traded, or diluted by external forces. It is this sacred connection between the people, the land, the and each other that the Republic seeks to preserve.

    Without Australians-There is no Australia.

  • The Australian Nationalist Social Republic (ANSR) advocates for the abolishment of the adversarial party politics system, replacing it with a single, permanent governing body. This politic will be responsible for commissioning Parliamentary Officers to serve in both the House of Representatives and the Senate, eliminating factionalism and inefficiencies.

In the House of Representatives, the ANSR will empower industry experts, selected through an occupational voting system by their peers, rather than career politicians. These officers will craft legislation tailored to the needs of the sectors they represent, ensuring a precise and expert-driven legislative process.

The Senate will retain a geographic-based voting franchise, representing the diverse communities of each state. This ensures that local and regional concerns are fully considered, balancing sector-specific expertise with regional representation.

By combining these two Chambers—a Parliament of experts and regional representatives—the ANSR will create a legislative body that is both efficient and deeply representative. Parliamentary proceedings will be fully transparent and accessible, ensuring accountability and effective governance.

This reform installs a government that reflects the true will and capacities of the Australian people, with expertise and representation at its core.

  • In the Republic of Australia, the Prime Minister is granted extensive executive powers by Presidential Decree to ensure efficient governance and responsive leadership while upholding democratic principles and accountability.

The Prime Minister holds full executive authority to implement laws, direct government operations, manage national security, and oversee government agencies, ensuring that government functions align with the nation's interests.

Through the Enabling Act, the Prime Minister can introduce critical legislation directly, bypassing traditional parliamentary routes when urgent national issues arise, without compromising democratic oversight.

Despite these powers, checks and balances are in place. The Presidential Office and Governor-General provide oversight, while citizens retain the right to challenge government actions.

Appeals Act: Citizens and officials can invoke this act to review and challenge actions taken by the Prime Minister, ensuring alignment with constitutional principles.

Civic Referendum for Legislative Nullification: Citizens may initiate a binding referendum to nullify any legislation passed by the Prime Minister or Parliament. This provision ensures that the government remains accountable to the people’s will.

Through a balance of enhanced executive powers and rigorous oversight, the Republic of Australia ensures a governance structure that is both efficient and accountable.

  • As part of the Republic of Australia’s new Constitution, the enshrinement of a Bill of Rights will be a foundational pillar in safeguarding the freedoms and liberties of all Nationals, Citizens, and Residents. This document will explicitly define the fundamental rights afforded to every individual, ensuring lasting protection from government overreach and external manipulation.

By integrating these rights into the very framework of the Republic, we establish an immutable safeguard against both direct oppression and the gradual erosion of civil liberties under the guise of public interest. The Bill of Rights will guarantee protections such as freedom of speech, association, and conscience, as well as due process and legal equality for all.

This framework will act as a check against the excesses of government power, reinforcing Australia’s commitment to justice, democracy, and individual sovereignty. It is more than just a legal mechanism—it is a declaration of the inviolable rights of every Australian, ensuring their freedoms remain protected for generations to come.

  • In alignment with the Party’s vision for a sovereign Republic of Australia, the nation will transition from a monarchy to a republic with an elected President. This change will mark Australia’s evolution into a truly sovereign state, enacted through constitutional amendments and a national referendum.

The President, elected by the Australian people, will serve as the head of state and embody the nation’s sovereignty. Upon taking office, the President will appoint a Governor-General to sit in Parliament, granting legislative assent and exercising reserve powers when necessary. The Governor-General will act on the advice of the Prime Minister, ensuring balanced executive authority. As Commander-in-Chief of the Australian Defence Force, the President will also oversee the military, including the RAIDER(s).

Following a successful referendum, a Transition Committee, consisting of government representatives, legal experts, and civil organisations, will oversee the transition. A public communication campaign will inform citizens about the President’s role, responsibilities, and election process.

Simultaneously, relevant laws and frameworks will be revised to align with the new presidential structure, ensuring a smooth, democratic transition that reflects the will of the people.
