ENVIRONMENT

The land is more than a resource—it is the lifeblood of our nation and the foundation of our sovereignty. The ANSR is committed to protecting Australia’s natural heritage while ensuring it remains a source of strength and prosperity. True nationalism means not only defending borders but also preserving the soil, water, and ecosystems that sustain us.

Under the ANSR, Australia will achieve energy independence through renewable projects that respect our landscapes, while strict environmental safeguards will ensure industries and agriculture operate sustainably. Every action we take will be guided by a simple truth: the land defines who we are. To harm it is to harm the nation itself. By protecting our environment, we secure not only our future but the legacy we leave for generations to come.

  • The ANSR is committed to asserting full sovereignty over Australia’s land, environmental policies, and natural resources. We will withdraw from any international agreements or treaties that infringe on our nation’s right to independently govern these areas, including the Paris Agreement and other global accords that limit our ability to make decisions about our resources.

We will prioritise Australia’s energy and resource independence, ensuring our industries are developed and controlled domestically. By rescinding unnecessary regulations, we will foster economic growth while maintaining essential environmental protections suited to Australia’s unique needs.

The ANSR will engage in bilateral agreements that respect our sovereignty, focusing on cooperation where it benefits Australia’s national interests. We remain open to international collaboration on global environmental issues, but only on our terms, ensuring that Australia’s policies align with our strategic goals and preserve our autonomy.

  • The ANSR is committed to securing and managing Australia’s water resources for the nation’s long-term benefit, balancing water security, environmental sustainability, and economic growth.

We oppose the discharge of untreated or partially treated sewage into Australian waters, recognising its harmful effects. Instead, we prioritise advanced water treatment technologies to purify wastewater for reuse in irrigation, industry, and landscaping, alleviating pressure on freshwater resources.

    Key Water Infrastructure Projects:

    • Bradfield Scheme: Redirecting surplus coastal water to drought-affected regions in Queensland.

    • Ord and Victoria River Systems: Expanding irrigation for northern Australia’s agriculture.

    • Fitzroy and Flinders Rivers: Building dams to secure water in northern Australia.

    • Murray-Darling Basin Reforms: Managing Australia’s most critical river system for both agricultural and environmental needs.

    • Esperance to Kalgoorlie Pipeline: Ensuring water supply for remote Western Australia.

ANSR supports investment in sustainable technologies to ensure these projects meet current needs and build resilience against future droughts. Our aim is to enhance regional development, support agriculture, and secure long-term water resources.

This policy establishes Australia as a leader in water management, ensuring efficient water use across all sectors.
